- Try to select your needle size to suit the material and sewing thread: Thicker materials and threads require a correspondingly thicker needle.

- Round shank with 2 mm diameter
- For high-speed household and industrial sewing machines whose operating manual specifies use of needle system 134, 134 R, DPx5, 135x5, SY 1955, 135x7 or 797. These include, for example, the JUKI TL-2300 Sumato as well as many industrial sewing machines from Brother, Jack, JUKI, Pfaff, Texi, Zoje, etc.
- Please note that, due to its round shank, the 134 U is NOT compatible with standard household sewing machines that require a needle with a flat shank.
