LU-2800 Series Long Arm has been doubled in length compared with the standard model.

LU-2800-7 long arm increased distance to the needle contributes to massively improve the machine workability. The arm length of the standard LU-200 series is 35cm and this has been increase to either 1m or 70cm depending on your requirements.

Similarly to the standard LU-2800 series, there is a high torque direct-drive motor suited to heavy-weight material. This leads to improved stopping accuracy and excellent responsiveness. It also contributes to the reduction of power consumption compared to conventional models.

Double tension provided as standard

Single or Double can be set easy through multi-functional 6-string switch, regarding the machine with trimmer. (available for more thick material)

Multi-functional 6-string switch (thread trimming switch)

In addition to the one-touch type reverse feed switch, a multi-functional 6-string switch is also provided. Changeover in the amount of alternating movement of the walking foot and the presser foot and the changeover of the stitch length can be done simply with the single switch.

Walking-foot/presser-foot alternating vertical movement mechanism

The sewing machine has adopted a feed mechanism which keeps the ratio between the amount of the vertical movement of the walking foot and that of the presser foot constant even when the material is changed. The amount of the alternating vertical movement of the walking foot and the presser foot is 9mm max. This amount can be easily set through the large instead of the upper section of the machine.

Hand Pulley

A hand wheel has been included in the middle of the machine arm for both the 1m and the 70cm versions of the machine. This allows for much easier operation even with the extended arm.
