Groz Beckert GEBEDUR™ Coating
GEBEDUR™ needles developed and patented by Groz-Beckert are coated with titanium nitride, which gives them their characteristic golden appearance. This coating provides the needles with a higher degree of hardness than standard needles. The double point groove improves the thread guidance in linear and, above all, multidirectional sewing processes. In addition, the scarf chamfers on both sides ensure an optimum loop pick-up by the hook or looper. The GEBEDUR™ coating increases the wear protection of the needle, especially in the point and eye area.
