SW12 is the biggest Rasor bench cutting machine. For over 30 years within the market, the model SW12 reached the highest level in technology and safety and still can collect a big success in the high thickness cutting application. Its 120mm diameter knife allows the cut of fabrics up to 50mm thickness. The powerful 180Watt motor combined with a strong bronze/steel coupling gears create high torque plus a high blade speed of 850 rpm. SW12 is widely applied in textile or technical fabrics fields and it is especially suitable to cut high thickness material like mattress, foams and natural fibers in many layers. The new push button sharpening stone allows the sharpening of the knife edge to be done in less than 10 seconds without removing the knife. The aluminium cutting base with rolls is Teflon® coated to allow the easy feed of the machine and the reduction of the friction between the platform and the material. Model SW12 is definitely the best professional bench cutting machine for high thickness.
Description
The Rasor SW12, bench cutter model, is used in order to cut strong fabrics. By cutting with the blade and the counterblade always in contact and thanks to the steel upper quality of the blade supplied, SW12 cutter guarantees the clear separation without frayings of the two borders of the cut material. The fixture is extremely versatile, light and precise in the cutting operation. Thanks to the use of a sliding bearing base and an effective cutting system with a poligonal blade, it is possible to use the bench cutter to cut curved profiles not only in the texile and tannage sector, but also in several industrial sectors such as to cut polymers, thermoacoustic insulator, padding, neoprene, filters, synthetic and similar fabrics, moquette and internal parts of cars and ships.
The blade diameter (120mm) and the motor power (180W) gives this bench cutter remarkable cutting capacity in terms of thickness (up to 5cm). The wide sliding bearing base allows the operator to slide the cutter on the table without effort.
A sharpener assembled on the cutter heads allows whetting the blade at any moment without disassembling it. After carrying out this operation, it is possible to start cutting again.
Acoustic Level
The maximum sound pressure level emitted is approximately 60 dB (A). Airborne noise was detected in compliance with EN ISO 15744:2008. The noise levels emitted by the device at various detection distances (with no soundwave filtration system) vary by a few db (A).
